Tuesday 23rd June #LaughterSpreadsFaster

Good Morning my Directors Of The Bored.

I hope Monday wasn’t too Monday-ish. Either way, I’ve got you sorted for a cracking start to Tuesday with all the funnies below and some cool stuff just ahead of it.

People Are Amazing

The Useful

If you’re steadily coming round to the idea that this is the Summer of the Socially Distanced Picnic, (and with this being National Picnic week), here’s everything you need for the ultimate feed.

And after that day out, you might want to think about this. Whether you’ve used Lockdown to take up new fitness habits, or you think you need to take up new fitness habits when Lockdown ends so they don’t have to cut you out of your house – these are the trends the fitness world will be following, and how it’s going to look.

On the subject of fitness trends, one of the biggest, from really early on in Lockdown has been Joe Wicks daily PE workout. He was already hugely successful with his Lean In Fifteen series of books, but this effort has catapulted him into another dimension, with offers from both the BBC and Channel 4 to screen the workouts, which Joe’s turned down because he reaches more people via youtube. I’ve placed this item here in ‘The Useful’, but really hope it doesn’t become an issue for you. It’s a simple piece of advice. Don’t let the kids workout with Joe upstairs.

And here’s a really useful bit of help, especially considering people appear to be queueing for literally everything reopening.

World Of The Weird

This story is utterly bizarre and also quite funny. Here’s how 2 friends legitimately scored the Number 1 Box Office Movie spot in America with a half hour film they made on Zoom!

Here’s a piece about a girl who suffered a mysterious brain injury which rendered her mute for two months. Then, one day, her voice suddenly reappeared, but in 4 different foreign sounding broken-English accents.

Things That Make You Go Awwwwww

Things We’ve Discovered In Lockdown

The ultimate way to avoid the tears when peeling an onion is to punch it.

It’s time for The Funnies

I cannot believe this is two years old and I’ve never seen it.

Go Jon, Go Jon, Go Jon, Go Jon….

Today’s News In Brief

Let’s play out with some music.

Today, The Doobie Brothers!

Thanks for reading.

Stay safe x

I present radio shows for Global on Smooth Radio, run an audio media company - Mellis Media - and I also work for Aberdeen Football Club and write for a number of local media outlets. But that's work. My life and passions revolve around my wife, Lynne, and our kids, Joshua and Gracie. I’m a dog father to Ernie.
