Monday May 11th #LaughterSpreadsFaster

Good Morning my Directors Of The Bored,

Another week, another bath, another pair of jammies.

This is not a political blog, so we’ll gloss over who is and isn’t coming out of Lockdown. I don’t think anyone really knows anyway. For me, it’ll be when all the street parties break out.

No wait, that was last Friday when the TV news channels wanted to show some VE75 celebrations, and the people they approached joyfully agreed.

Face Palm.

Like I say, this is not a political blog. I’m here to make the laughs spread around the world quicker and for longer than Coronavirus, so let’s get started.

People Are Amazing

World Of The Weird

This is the section where we celebrate the little quirks in life which are occurring because of Lockdown.

Now we’re at home more, finally, the answer to “what does the cat do when I’m out?”

When the humans go inside, wildlife becomes more interested in the world because it seems safer to investigate. Like these fox cubs who came to play on granny’s porch.

But, as usual in World Of The Weird – humans take the prize. Still, good to know Daft Punk are safe.

Things That Make You Go Awwwwww

Things We’ve Discovered In Lockdown

The most constipated animal in the world is a lizard.

Groundhogs love broccoli.

And, The Magic Circle will be up in arms over this.

And now it’s time for The Funnies

I really hope these mass dance outbreaks don’t stop when we’re legally permitted to conduct them again.

And now, today’s News In Brief

Let’s finish with some music

Thanks for reading.

Stay safe x

I've been on the radio for almost 30 years (not continuously!) and am a media bloke entrenched in one of the loveliest parts of the world. I present radio shows for Global on Smooth Radio, run an audio media company - Mellis Media - and I also work for Aberdeen Football Club and write for a number of local media outlets. But that's work. My life and passions revolve around my wife, Lynne, and our kids, Joshua and Gracie. I’m a dog father to Ernie.
