It’s Star Wars Day.
May The Fourth Be With You. Always.
I bet you there’s some really cool app that does the Star Wars treatment on your paragraph so it unfolds like the opening of all the movies. “A long time ago in a galaxy far far away”
I’ll leave it with you. I don’t have the time right now. Busy blog.
Straight to it.
Let’s begin with People Are Amazing
I’ve run out of compliments for Some Good News with John Krasinski. I totally get where he’s coming from because it’s exactly the same driving force with this blog. We just want to put a smile on a face that might otherwise have been a frown or a grimace. To prove that no matter what the world throws at you, there’s always good news out there. So if you look at nothing else in this blog, please watch this.
Next, ever feel like you’re ‘over the hill’? Past it? Think again, because this lot have something to say about it.
And lastly today in People Are Amazing, something which I very much hope becomes the start of a trend, a brewery in Alnwick which is giving away the 5000 pints it can’t sell because of Coronavirus with the suggestion of making a donation to the NHS.

And we’re on a similar theme as we enter the realms of The Useful.
I don’t know where it comes from or who stocks them, but I want at least 20 please.
Things That Make You Go Awwwwww
In order to combat the struggle of social separation and ensure that older people remain visible in a positive way, PoetryGeneration have come up with an amazing idea. For every day we’re in Lockdown, they’re asking an elderly person to record a reading of their favourite poem to be shared with the rest of the world.

Love this.
And now it’s time for The Funnies.
This one I’ve actually seen before, but it’s worth another look.
What is it they say, dance to the beat of your own drum? I think he’s got that down.

And today’s News In Brief

They were supposed to be baking Lighthouses for a school project.

Let’s end on a song.
Our Gary. He never lets me down.
Thanks for reading.
Stay safe x
