What we're trying to do

Hi, I’m John, and like you, along with the rest of the world, the last few days and weeks have blown me away.

Coronavirus / Covid19 is all we’re hearing about.

It looks like our world is changing more than we’ve ever known in our lifetime. A lot of us are trapped indoors, self-isolating. And that’s going to be the norm for the foreseeable future.

So I wanted to create something to cheer us up.

Something simple.

Something we can all see and enjoy at no cost, free from the risk of transferring the virus.

Something we can take part in ourselves if we want.

To spread a laugh or a smile, quicker than the virus and for those smiles and laughter to see us through this period, back to normality on the other side.

I want famous people – comedians, singers, actors and politicians telling their favourite joke or funny story to their phone camera and sharing it to give the world a laugh, but I want you doing it too, because this isn’t about them and us, us and them – it’s about everyone, rallying round and giggling through to the other side where we can.
